"Usually slow"
Most days the pages feel laggy, and sometimes they take way too long to load. It’s not unusable, but waiting around for basic stuff was annoying, and that part was weird.

"Email sync kept causing problems"
I tried Karbon mostly because it was supposed to make working with our email easier, but the sync kept falling behind and a few messages ended up in the wrong client threads. I still found myself double-checking everything in Outlook, which kind of defeated the whole point.
Support was friendly and did try to help, but the fixes never really held for long. For what we’re paying, I expected the email side to be reliable, and at this point I’d expect some kind of credit or compensation for the time it wasted

We went into karbon feeling optimistic, honestly... like, this was supposed to help us get more organized and make things smoother!!! But the implementation ended up being way more frustrating than we expected. A lot of our data and workflows needed cleanup right away, and half the time we weren’t totally sure what we were supposed to handle versus what their team was helping with.
The support people were nice enough, so I don’t want to make it sound like they didn’t care!! But responses weren’t always quick, and sometimes the answers felt kind of broad or generic... like they didn’t fully match what we were stuck on. The training sessions helped some, but not enough for our team to really feel confident using it day to day.
I can see how karbon might be a solid tool once everything is set up properly!!! But getting to that point was rough for us, and it took more time and energy than we planned for. Maybe it gets better after implementation, but that first stretch was definitely not smooth...
"Pretty easy, but it stressed me out a bit"
Karbon is mostly easy to use, but I’ll be honest, a few of the menus had me clicking around way more than I expected. I thought it would be quick to find what I needed, but it ended up adding some unnecessary stress. It’s not bad overall, and I did get the hang of it, but it could definitely be a little simpler

This app has been really frustrating. It seems to crash right when I actually need it, and the sync randomly fails for no clear reason. Support just keeps telling me to “try again,” which makes me wonder if they even know what’s going on or if they’re just brushing people off.

"Wish the integrations worked a bit better"
Karbon has been solid for our team, and I do like that we can keep client work organized in one place. I just kind of wish I had realized sooner that the integrations weren’t quite as seamless as I expected, especially since that was a big reason we were excited about using it.
The email and storage connections are helpful, but every now and then something doesn’t sync the way I think it should, or I end up spending extra time fiddling with settings to get things connected properly. It’s not a bad tool by any means, but I do regret assuming the integrations would be more reliable and easier to manage out of the box.

"Works really well for how our team operates"
karbon has been a solid fit for our day-to-day workflow. It covers most of what we need for managing client work and keeping team tasks organized, and the email and job tracking features have been especially helpful. A few areas still feel a little clunky at times, but overall it does a lot for us and definitely helps save time.

"Workflow setup was such a hassle"
Setting up the workflow was just a pain, pain, pain. Everything felt kind of messy and slow, and our tasks kept slipping through the cracks. The notifications were confusing too, so we never really knew what was actually going on. Even simple things took way too many clicks. For our team, it just wasn’t worth the headache

The training itself was helpful enough, but the onboarding process took way longer than it needed to. I felt like I had to keep following up and doing extra work just to get things moving, which was frustrating.

"It really threw off our plans"
We brought in karbon hoping it would finally give us a clear view of the practice and help us stay on top of everything. That was the plan, at least. In reality, it was still hard to see who was handling what, what was stuck, and where things stood. We ended up chasing people for updates outside the system anyway, which kind of defeated the whole purpose. it was frustrating because we expected this to make our workflow smoother, and instead it messed up the plans we had for getting more organized.

"Something feels a bit off with teamwork"
I like the idea behind it, but when our team starts adding comments and updating tasks, things get messy quickly. It works in theory, but in day-to-day use something feels a little off and it ends up feeling clunky

I don’t know, the whole task tracking setup just feels kind of clunky to me. I’ll go in thinking I’m going to quickly see what’s assigned to who and what’s due soon, and then somehow I’m clicking around trying to piece it together. The due dates don’t really jump out enough either, which is a problem when you’re already juggling a bunch of stuff. For our team, it ended up slowing us down more than helping.

karbon’s automation features are definitely useful for follow-ups and recurring tasks, and they do save me some time. That said, getting everything set up can feel a little clunky, and it’s not always clear what the next step is supposed to be. I’ve had moments where I’m clicking around trying to figure out what to do next, which kind of defeats the purpose. I still end up double-checking some things manually just to be safe. Overall, it’s a decent tool, but I really wish the automations were easier to adjust and the process was more straightforward.

"Reporting still feels unfinished"
I mostly got Karbon for the reporting and analytics side, but it hasn’t really delivered for me. The reports feel limited, they’re not easy to customize, and sometimes the numbers are harder to make sense of than they should be. I still end up exporting things and doing extra work elsewhere, which is frustrating considering the cost

I tried it out, but it don't feel worth the monthly price to me. For what you get, it just seems too expensive.
